MocaMoca Cares Supports Community Outreach for Youth at Parañaque’s Bahay Pag-Asa

PARAÑAQUE CITY, Philippines — Demonstrating its commitment to giving back to the community, Copperstone Lending Inc., through its corporate social responsibility initiative MocaMoca Cares, recently supported a community outreach program for the young residents of the Bahay Pag-Asa Juvenile Center in Parañaque City.

Held on July 18, the activity benefited more than 50 juveniles through the distribution of hot meals and personal hygiene kits while providing an opportunity for encouragement, fellowship, and values formation.

The outreach was organized by Live Christ Share Christ (LCSC), 365 Saints Educational Mission, Inc., Negosentro Media, and the Supremus Cavaliers Eagles Club under the International Fraternal Order of Eagles – Philippine Eagles Pro Patria (IFOE), in coordination with Bahay Pag-Asa Head Mr. Alex Guian. As one of the event’s sponsors, MocaMoca Cares helped support the provision of essential supplies distributed during the program.

Beyond meeting immediate needs, the initiative sought to inspire hope among the youth through a Values Formation and Moral Upliftment Session facilitated by volunteers from the LCSC Parañaque City Chapter, led by couple missionaries Bro. Rodel Sope and Sis. Nilda Sope. The session encouraged the participants to embrace responsibility, strengthen their values, and believe in the possibility of positive change.

Gracing the event from IFOE PRO PATRIA was Kuya International President Sajid Salih (President of IFOE PE PRO PATRIA), joined by his wife Ate Jane Salih (IFOE PE PRO PATRIA International Event Director). Others from IFOE PRO PATRIA and the IFOE PRO PATRIA-affiliated Supremus Cavaliers Eagles Club include Kuya Rogelio Laforteza, Kuya Patrick John Bito-on, Ate Maylyn Cabrera, Kuya Milson Aoanan, and Ate Crisadil Gabion, who coordinated the provision of meals and essential supplies for the beneficiaries.

According to 365 Saints Educational Mission, Inc. Chairman and Negosenrro Media Group Publisher, Homer Nievera, “The event is a kick-off for our charitable efforts; together with fellow volunteers from the participating organizations, in uplifting the lives of juveniles towards being future contributors to society.”

For Copperstone Lending Inc., supporting community-centered initiatives through MocaMoca Cares reflects the company’s broader commitment to creating a positive social impact beyond its core business. By partnering with civic organizations, faith-based groups, and volunteers, the program aims to contribute to projects that promote compassion, dignity, and opportunities for personal growth.

“The success of community outreach programs is made possible through collaboration,” the organizers said. “When organizations come together with a shared purpose, they can create meaningful experiences that inspire hope and remind young people that brighter opportunities are still ahead.”

The activity underscores the importance of partnerships between the private sector and volunteer organizations in reaching vulnerable communities and encouraging social responsibility.

Through MocaMoca Cares, Copperstone Lending Inc. continues to support initiatives that foster community development and extend assistance to those who need it most, reaffirming its belief that responsible businesses can help create lasting, positive change beyond the workplace.
